The nurse practitioner is able to assess, diagnose and treat/prescribe (where appropriate) for the following conditions:
- Coughs and colds
- Sore Throat
- Tonsillitis
- Chest Infection
- Sinusitis
- Hayfever
- Fever
- Rash
- Earache/infection(otitis externa/otitis media)
- Childhood Infectious Diseases (e.g. chickenpox, hand foot and mouth, slapped cheek, mumps)
- Urinary Tract Infection/Cystitis
- Sore eyes (e.g. conjunctivitis, styles, red eye)
- Skin Infections (e.g. impetigo, cellulitis, scabies, fungal infections, paronychia)
- Human/Animal bites
- Insect bites/Stings
- Emergency Contraception

- Mouth Ulcers/Thrush
- Nappy Rash/Thrush
- Minor Head Injury
- Diarrhoea & Vomiting
- Nosebleeds
- Dry Skin conditions (e.g. mild eczema)
- Threadworms
