If you think you may be pregnant, you can either use a test from a chemist, or bring an early morning urine sample to a booked nurse appointment to be tested. It is important to take folic acid (400mic) as soon as possible, and beforehand if you are trying to get pregnant. Let us know as soon as you find out so that we can organise antenatal care straight away.
Our antenatal clinics are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12.45pm to 2pm, run by the midwifery service. Confinements usually booked for the GP unit at Princess Royal Hospital, or Royal Shrewsbury Hospital under consultant care.
